In January 2018, according to operational data, the passenger flow of Russian airlines increased by 13.5% year-on-year to 7.536 million passengers, Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsiya) informed.

The passenger turnover for this period increased by 14.8% to 19.469 million passenger-kilometers, the seat load factor by 1.8 p.p. to 79.3%. 

Cargo and mail handling grew by 6.9% to 82,944 tonnes, the cargo turnover by 4.5% to 582.152 million tonne-kilometers, the revenue load factor by 2.5 p.p. to 67.5%.
