Soyuz MS-11 crews have been approved by the State Commission

On December 2, the State Commission at the Baikonur launch site have approved the prime and backup crew assignments for manned transportation spacecraft Soyuz MS-11 and confirmed the readiness of Rocket and Space Complex Soyuz-FG/Soyuz МS-11 and the ground infrastructure for the launch under the ISS program.

The main crew: Soyuz MS-11 commander Оleg Kononenko (Roscosmos, Russia); Soyuz MS-11 flight engineer David Saint-Jacques (CSA, Canada); Soyuz MS-11 flight engineer Anne McClain (NASA, the USA).

The backup crew: The backup crew: Soyuz MS-11 commander Alexander Skvortsov (Roscosmos, Russia); Soyuz MS-11 flight engineer Luca Parmitano (ЕSA, Italy); Soyuz MS-11 flight engineer Andrew Morgan (NASA, the USA).

The main and backup crewmembers reported about their readiness for flight, and subsequent to the meeting of the State Commission answered questions of the Russian and foreign journalists at a regular pre-flight press conference.

The launch of Soyuz-FG LV with Soyuz MS-11 will take place on December 3, 2018 at 14:31 Moscow time from Launch Pad No.1 (Gagarin’s Launch Pad) of the Baikonur Launch Site.
