Pilots of the fighter, bomber and helicopter squadrons of the naval aviation base of the Baltic Fleet conducted flights over the mainland and the sea.
They practiced the tactics of conducting air combat with aircraft of the mock enemy. Crews performed a complex of various elements of combat training in the sky, where special attention was paid to piloting techniques using offensive and defensive maneuvers at different heights.
At the same time, the crews of the Mi-24 attack helicopters and Mi-8 transport helicopters and Ka-27 of naval aviation of the Baltic Fleet conducted scheduled training flights at Donskoe airfield in the Kaliningrad region.
In total, about 20 aircraft of various types were involved in the flights of naval aviation.
