Combined crews of the two countries trained to fire missiles and bombs by Su-30MKI as well as gunfire by Mi-8 helicopters at night.
Air strikes targets ground objects simulating facilities of the mock enemy. The drills involved over 10 aircraft of the Russian Air Force.
On the eve of the flight crew passed theoretical training, studied the area of flights, issues of interaction in the groups of flight management at the airport and the range, the procedure in various emergency situations.
The Aviaindra 2018 air tactical exercise takes place in India at the Jodhpur air base. Some 20 pilots of fighter, army and military transport aviation has arrived at the site of the drills. There are also engineers, flight control and air safety specialists in the Russian deligation. The event involves Su-30MKI, An-30 and Mi-8 aircraft of various modifications of the Indian Air Force.
The exercise will last till December 21.
