Su-24M bombers of the Southern Military District Mixed Aviation Regiment eliminated the mock enemy’s base camp as part of the exercise at the Prudboy range in the Volgograd region.

The coordinates of the targets were detected and referred by the crews of Su-24MR reconnaissance aircraft. Bombers used 120-kilogram high-explosive fragmentation air bombs and successfully completed the task.

The operation was conducted at the coordinates of the targets and was complicated by poor visibility of the targets due to snow-covered terrain. The average deviation of the bombs was 4 m at an acceptable figure of 15 m.

Flight and engineering staff and about 30 aircraft and special equipment of the aviation regiment were involved in the flights.
