Bomber and assault aviation performed live-fire and bombing exercises straight at two specialized aviation ranges of the Eastern Military District in the Khabarovsk and Primorsky Krai.
The crews of Su-34, Su-24M2 fighter bombers and Su-25SM attack aircraft developed their skills in air navigation, piloting, conducting air reconnaissance, and performing flights in pair.
Su-25 SM attack aircraft also carried out launches of unguided air missiles.
When mopping up the area, the pilots of Su-25SM attack aircraft used gun systems to eliminate the remaining groups of terrorists.
Particular attention in combat firing was focused on evading mock enemy’s air defence systems
