Airlines of the S71 group have summarized the results of their operations in October 2018. Over the course of the past month, the airlines have transported 1,387,013 passengers, an 15.6% increase from October 2017.
1,013,645 passengers used S7 Airlines flights within Russia, which is an 13.5% increase over October 2017. Growth on international flights was 21.7%. In October 2018, 373,368 passengers took the airlines’ international flights.
The passenger turnover for the month increased by 16.3% and reached 2,834,733 thousand pkm.
“The October results are in line with our expectations. Last month, three new liners with an increased flight range were added to the S7 Airlines fleet, which made it possible to offer flights to new and interesting destinations in Southeast Asia, as well as grow the capacity on a number of the most popular routes, ”said Igor Veretennikov, S7 Group Commercial Director.
At the end of October, S7 Airlines switched to the winter flight schedule, which will be effective until March 30, 2019 inclusive. During this period the airlines offer flights to 26 countries, which include new directions for S7: from Novosibirsk and Irkutsk to Cam Ranh (Vietnam), from Irkutsk to Phuket (Thailand).
In December, S7 Airlines will resume flights to popular destinations for active winter vacations in Europe: Turin, Innsbruck and Salzburg. For the first time, travelers from St. Petersburg who prefer a ski vacation on the slopes of Krasnaya Polyana will be able to take direct flights to Sochi with S7 Airlines.
