Aeroexpress passenger traffic increases 10% during November Holidays

Aeroexpress summed up its transportation results during the 2018 November holidays. Over 80,000 passengers travelled on Aeroexpress trains for the period 3-5 November 2018. The total passenger traffic increased by 10% compared to the same period last year.

The number of travellers who opted for Aeroexpress services during the three days of holidays this year exceeded the 2017 result by 7,500 passengers. All routes served by the company’s trains showed improvements in passenger demand, including Vnukovo, Domodedovo, and Sheremetyevo. The latter was the most popular during that period, with nearly 38,000 people taking rides on that route.

In September 2018, Aeroexpress put Okruzhnaya interim stop into operation on the Shere-metyevo route. Aeroexpress trains arrive at the interim station 13 minutes after departure from Belorussky Rail Terminal and 22 minutes after departure from Sheremetyevo Airport. The duration of travel from the rail terminal to the airport has not changed and is the same 35 minutes.
