Su-24 aircraft of an air unit stationed in Primorye of the Air Force and Air Defence Army, Eastern Military District, made planned sorties over the Sea of Japan.
During the sorties, Su-24 aircraft flew over the coastal line and waters of the Sea of Japan, and practised a number of tasks to search and locate mock enemy. The sorties were made in cooperation with duty air defence ground forces and ships of the Pacific Fleet.
Planned sorties were made at night as well. They were carried out in compliance with international law.
