Rostec ready to invest 50 billion rubles in MC-21 project

After being included in Rostec the United Aircraft Corporation has pledged to finance government programs and projects in the field of aircraft building. Rostec will be prepared to invest 50 billion rubles in the project for creating a medium-haul passenger plane MC-21, a Rostec spokesman has told TASS.

"With our accession to Rostec the United Aircraft Corporation assumes major commitments related with the financing and successful implementation of government programs and projects in aircraft building. First and foremost this concerns the medium haul plane MC-21. We will be prepared to invest more than 50 billion rubles in it by 2025," he said.
