Pilots of Rossiya Airlines are presented the award «For fail-safe flight hours» of the 1st degree. The 1st degree distinction badge is awarded to active pilots, who comply with the requirements of the Russian Federation air laws and prevent accidents or incidents, as well as cases of violation of production or labor discipline that threaten flight safety, for 10,000 hours of fail-safe flights.

The awards were presented to the flight unit deputy commander for organizing flight operations of Rossiya Airlines Vladimir Fidarov, Rossiya’s Boeing 777 pilot in command Vladimir Kolotko, and commander of a separate aviation squadron of Boeing 737 Oleg Kurganov. The solemn ceremony was held during the meeting of the Board of Rostransnadzor (the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Transport). Pilots of Rossiya received awards from the head of Rostransnadzor Viktor Basargin.

Pilots of the airline annually receive professional awards – more than 370 pilots were presented distinction badges and other awards during the period from 2016 to 2018.
