Su-24 short-range bombers of the Central Military District delivered a bomb strike on the simulated enemy’s fortified command post within a tactical flight exercise in the Chelyabinsk region.
According to the flight task, the Su-24MR intelligence aircraft located the mock enemy’s headquarters. Having received its location, a flight of Su-24M short-range bombers scrambled from the Shagol military airfield, delivered accurate bomb strikes and destroyed the simulated enemy’s command post.
Some ten Su-24 aircraft and more than 50 serviceme were involved in the exercise.
