Today, the Aviadarts 2018 first stage has kicked off in Western Military District.

The Su-34 fighter-bombers, Su-24 short-range bomber, MiG-29SMT and Su-27 fighter jets as well as Ka-52, Mi-28, Mi-24 and Mi-8 helicopters are involved in the competition.

In course of the competition, the crews are to overwhelm a mock hostile air defence, conduct air reconnaissance, practise solo and paired flying, combat application of missile and bomb armament at ground target, and to train aerial navigation.
