MiG-29 fighter jets of the Russian air base Erebuni in Armenia worked out eliminating of the simulated enemy’s air defence facilities.

In addition, crews trained aerobatic stunts in the mountains under difficult meteorological conditions, at medium altitudes and in stratosphere.

More than 100 pilots, technical and ground support personnel, and about 20 aircraft were involved.

This year, the MiG-29 pilots are to carry out more than 1,000 training and combat training flights to practically use standard armaments in tactical exercises and in the course of combat duty in the unified air defence system of the CIS countries.
