Air defence regiment detached from the Air Force and Air Defence Army, Southern Military District, took part in exercise in Crimea. The S-400 anti-aircraft missile systems were deployed on unequipped positions.
The troops marched to a new positional area with simultaneous reammunitioning at an ammunition supply point using a special autocrane and special loading vehicle.
In order to test survey control, the SAM crews searched for a control target and seize it. An UAV simulated a target.
The exercise was commanded by Commander of the Army Major General Nikolay Verepakha. The drills lasted for three days.
