Koltsovo Airport increased passenger flow by 26% in 2017

In 2017, Koltsovo International Airport (Yekaterinburg) provided services to 5.404 million passengers (+26% year-on-year), reported by airport's press service.

The growth was mainly driven by international flights where the number of passengers increased by 67% to 1.919 million. The passenger flow on domestic air routes grew by 11% to 3.485 million.

67 airlines carried out flights from the airport of Yekaterinburg last year. The five most popular destinations were Moscow, Antalya, St. Petersburg, Sochi and Novosibirsk.

Koltsovo processed 24,487 tonnes of cargoes and mail this year (roughly equal to the 2016 level). Mail handling increased by 16% to 5,205 tonnes.
