An Emergency Ministry’s Antonov An-148 plane has carried out a medical evacuation of three seriously injured people from Omsk to Moscow.
The evacuees injured in a gas explosion on 12 January 2018 are in urgent need of highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.
The flying hospital is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, ventilators and cardiac monitors allowing providing medical care aboard.
During the flight the patients were accompanied by medical specialists of the Emergency Ministry’s Tsentrospas Team and All-Russian Disaster Medicine Center Zashchita of the Healthcare Ministry.
Once in Moscow, the patients are going to be transported to the Vishnevsky Surgery Institute and the Speransky Children’s Hospital.
