In accordance with the combat training plan, at the Pacific Fleet range (Peter the Great Bay), Ka-27 helicopters, deployed at the PF naval aviation base in the Primorye Krai, practised deck take-offs and landings at the major ASW ship Admiral Vinogradov.
Two Ka-27 helicopters (SAR and ASW versions) were involved in the drills. During the daylight hours, pilots carried out more than 20 deck take-offs and landings. The flights were performed both when the ship was in drift and in motion.
The tasks set for training have been achieved in full.
