S7 Airlines, a oneworld® global airline alliance member, has started operating the new Embraer E170 Door Trainer simulator for cabin crew training at S7 Training, the training centre of S7.

The simulator is used to practice the procedure for emergency evacuation, as well as opening and closing the door of the aircraft by pilots and flight attendants who are training for flights on modern Embraer 170 aircraft. Embraer E170 Door Trainer simulator training sessions are also a part of the annual training programme for cabin crews who already operate interregional flights on this type of aircraft.

The Embraer E170 Door Trainer simulator is designed in accordance with international cabin crew training requirements and has several training modes: normal, manual and emergency. The simulator equipment is completely identical with a real aircraft and features a special audio system with a set of typical sound effects that ensures the full immersion of the crew into the situation: level-flight, landing, decompression, etc.

In April 2017, S7 Airlines received the first Embraer 170 aircraft and became the first operator of this type of aircraft in Russia. Embraer 170 aircraft are designed to transport 78 passengers in a spacious and comfortable cabin of economy class.

Currently, S7 Airlines is actively developing its programme of regional carriages operated with Embraer 170, constantly expanding the geography of flights from Moscow, Novosibirsk and St. Petersburg.

Air tickets can be purchased at s7.ru, through the iPhone app or the Android app, and at any S7 sales office. You can also learn accurate flight information, book and buy tickets by calling our Contact Centre at 8 800 700–0707 (free for Russia).
