Russian jets were scrambled four times to intercept foreign aircraft near Russian borders in the past week, the Russian Defense Ministry said in its weekly infographics published by the official Krasnaya Zvezda daily on Friday.
In total, 11 aircraft were conducting aerial surveillance near Russian borders in the reported period.
The ministry said that no violations of the Russian airspace took place in the past week.
