Russian airborne servicemen to teach Egyptian colleagues to use the D-10 parachute system preparing for a joint exercise

For the first time the Defenders of Friendship 2017 Russian-Egyptian joint tactical exercise will be held in September in Russia. Airborne units of Russia and the Arab Republic of Egypt will take part in the exercise.

In course of the joint exercise Russian airborne servicemen will teach Egyptian colleagues how to use the D-10 parachute system to conduct jumps from Russian military transport aviation aircraft and helicopters.

In course of the joint exercise servicemen of the countries’ will work out a united approach to landing, maneuvering to a combat mission area, capturing and holding a mountain pass in Kuban.

The tactical exercise will be held in an area of the Krasnodar Region in a mountainous area in dry subtropical climate.
