Russian Emergencies Ministry’s jet carries out medevac of 5 gravely ill people from Stavropol and Perm to Nizhny Novgorod and Saint-Petersburg

The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Sukhoi SuperJet 100 has carried out a medical evacuation of 5 gravely ill patients from Stavropol and Perm to Nizhny Novgorod and Saint-Petersburg.

The patients needed urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical treatment.

The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s jet is rigged with modern equipment and medical modules, breathing apparatuses and cardiomonitors that allow rendering medical aid during the flight.

Medical specialists from the Tsentrospas State Central Airmobile Team, the Zashchita All-Russian Center for Disaster Medicine of the Health Ministry and a the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s psychologist accompanied the patients during the flight.

3 patients were delivered to Nizhny Novgorod for the specialized medical treatment in the Volga Federal Medical Research Institute, then the plane taken off to Saint-Petersburg to deliver to patients to the Alamazov Northwestern Federal Research Institute for high-tech medical treatment.
