Soyuz MS-04 descent module lands in Kazakhstan

The crew of manned spacecraft SOYUZ MS-04 returned safely to Earth. The crew module with Russian cosmonaut Feodor YURCHIKHIN and USA astronauts Jack FISCHER and Peggy WITSON landed in the Kazakhstan steppes of June 3, 2017 at 04:22 MT. All operations on the descent from orbit and landing have passed normally.

Before the next crew arrives on board of ISS, the crew of NASA astronaut, commander of ISS-53 Randolf BRESNIK, Russian cosmonaut Sergey RYAZANSKIY and ESA astronaut Paolo NESPOLI will continue the work on Earth orbit.

The duration time for mission of Feodor YURCHIKHIN and Jack FISCHER is more than 136 days. The duration time for mission of Peggy WITSON is more than 290 days. During this time, cosmonauts and astronauts completed an extensive program of scientific researches and experiments to maintain the station functional capability and retrofitted equipment delivered by cargo ships.
