An Emergency Ministry’s Sukhoi Superjet 100 has left the Moscow airport today to carry out medical evacuation of three seriously-ill children from the city of Makhachkala to Moscow.
The patients are need of urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical aid.
The plane is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules allowing providing medical aid to the patients during the flight.
During the whole operation, the children were accompanied by medical personnel of the Emergency Ministry’s Tsentrospas team, Healthcare Ministry’s All-Russian Disaster Medicine Center Zashchita and a psychologist of the Emergency Ministry’s Center for Emergency Psychological Aid.
Upon arrival in Moscow, the patients were delivered to hospitals to get specialized medical treatment.
