Attack aircraft crews of the Western MD and Aerospace Forces to be redeployed to operational airfields

In course of the Zapad 2017 Russian-Belarusian command post exercise, crews of fighter, bomber, and army aircraft crews of the Western MD and Aerospace Forces are getting ready for redeployment to operational airfields.

Engineer and technical staff prepared the hardware for long-range flight. The piloting staff is to receive the tasks right before the takeoff.

The pilots are ready to perform tasks on intercepting air targets, compelling an intruder to land, eliminating ground targets, which simulate enemy’s hardware convoys, as well as covering ground forces from the air and assault landing operations.
