The Western Military District (WMD)’s tactical aircraft stationed in the Voronezh Region practised escaping from the simulated enemy’s strikes in the framework of the combat readiness inspection.

Pilots of Su-34 front-line bombers and the technical engineer personnel of squadrons are working out the tasks of increasing the on-duty forces, escaping aviation hardware from the strikes and redeployment to operational airfields.

In addition, technical and logistical services are complying with the standards for transporting materiel, fuel and lubricants, as well as ammunition.

In total, about 200 servicemen of flight and technical personnel are taking part in the planned combat training events, up to 40 units  of military and aviation equipment, including about 20 bombers, are involved.
