In the nearest time United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) is going to start the largest restructuring, Kommersant informed.

Apart from the changes in the staff appointments at Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC) and Irkut Corp. the management scheme should be restructured. UAC is going to merge with its civil division into one legal person to make it a corporate center of corporation and civil projects manager. The changes should be drafted legally at the BOD sittings of UAC, Irkut, SCAC set for Sep. 1.

The merger with Irkut and SCAC is assumed to be the first step for the introduction of a single stock to provide 50bn rub. in savings.

The restructuring will be accompanied by the staff changes. Yury Slyusar, UAC president, will be appointed as a head of Irkut. Alexander Rubtsov, Ilyushin Finance Co. head, will keep the SCAC head position. 

By 2022 Irkut will try to concentrate its activity mainly on the building of MC-21 planes.
