Russian-Egyptian Airborne joint tactical exercise to take place in Russia for the first time

The Russian-Egyptian 2017 Defenders of Friendship joint tactical exercise is to take place in September, 2017 in the Russian Federation.

Russian and Egyptian Paratroopers are to take part in the joint tactical exercise.

Within the drills the paratroopers will practise joint actions in landing, maneuvering, capturing and retaining a mountain pass in Kuban.

The exercise will be held in one of the regions of Krasnodar Krai in dry subtropical mountains.

The Russian-Egyptian Joint tactical exercise on the territory of the Russian Federation will be carried out according to the Russian Defense Ministry International Activity Plan.
