The international competition of unmanned aerial vehicles started in Kazakhstan

In the south of Kazakhstan, the first stage of the contest ‘Drone Competition’ within the Army International Games-2017 began.

At the ‘Matybulak’ range, UAV crews began flight preparation in designated areas to conduct air reconnaissance.

Three countries – Russia, Iran and Kazakhstan - compete in the ‘Drone Competition’ contest. The teams use their short-range UAV complexes in the competitions.

Each country brought its drones, the Russian team will operate the ‘Eleron-3’ drone, the Kazakh team has been using Israeli drone ‘Skylark’ for three years.

The contest in Kazakhstan will last till 9 August.
