In January-June 2017, the airports of Sochi, Anapa, Krasnodar and Gelendzhik operating within the Basel Aero airport holding served 6.006 million passengers (+10% year-on-year), the holding informed.

The airports served 462,665 international passengers (+76%), 5.543 million domestic air passengers (+7%). The number of departures increased by 10% to 26,206, cargo and mail handling exceeded 7,821 tonnes (+7%).

The passenger throughput of Krasnodar International Airport increased by 19% to 1.911 million; the passenger flow at Anapa International Airport decreased by 5% to about 721,000; the passenger flow at Gelendzhik airport reached almost 160,000 passengers (+18%).

The passenger flow of Sochi International Airport increased by 9% to 3.214 million, including more than 3.115 million domestic air passengers (+8%), more than 99,000 international passengers (+54%).
