Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to zero VAT on flight in the Kaliningrad region, TASS agency reported.
At a meeting on development of transport infrastructure, he noted that this is the only exclave region of Russia, in connection with which, despite the Ministry’s position on the need to preserve the integrity of the tax system for Kaliningrad it is possible to make an exception.
"On air transportation to Kaliningrad – VAT removed”, he concluded, noting that this will be good news for residents of the region.
