The pilots of the operational aviation of the Western MD based in the Kursk Region have trained in covering bombers during air-to-ground strike at the special range near Voronezh.

The Mig-29SMT have covered the Su-34 fighter-bombers during the bombardment of the targets imitating hostile fuel storages.

The pilots practiced joint actions amid hostile EW and AD activities.

Up to 10 aircraft of Su-34, Mig-29SMT as well as S-300PM crews were engaged in the scheduled flights.
