The regimental tactical exercise led by the Commander of the Russian Airborne troops Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov has finished in Pskov region.

The paratroopers practiced tasks of landing, and combat actions in advanced guard of the fast reaction forces in operation on settling the crisis situation on the Western strategic during the exercise.

The exercise was held in three stages and included all tasks of the Airborne troops both in peace and wartime.

In total, about 2,500 servicemen and more than 40 pieces of aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces were engaged in the exercise. The exercise was held from 7 till 11  August according to the 2017 Airborne troops training plan.
