Russian Emergencies Ministry’s jet carries out medevac of gravely ill patients from Moscow to Magas and from Grozny to Saint-Petersburg

The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Sukhoi Superjet 100 has took off from the Ramenskoye Airfield today to carry out a medevac of a gravely ill child to the town of Magas, Ingushetia. Then the airplane took a flight to the city of Grozny to pick up a gravely ill man, to deliver him to Saint-Petersburg.

The Emergencies Ministry’s Sukhoi Superjet 100 is rigged with modern specialized medical module, breathing apparatus and  cardiomonitors that allow rendering medical aid to the patients during the flight.

Medical specialists from the Tsentrospas Team, the ZashchitaCenter for Disaster Medicine of the Russian Health Ministry and a psychologist from the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Center for Emergency Psychological Aid will accompany the patients in flight.

The child patient was delivered to the Republican Children Hospital in Ingushetia, while the man was delivered in Dzhanelidze Saint-Petersburg Research Institute for specialized and high-tech medical treatment.
