The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s Sukhoi Superjet 100 is to carry out medical evacuation of 1 gravely injured patient from Moscow to Rostov-on-Don and 8 gravely injured patients from Rostov-on-Don to Moscow.
The patients are in need of urgent highly-qualified and high-tech medical care.
The Russian Emergencies Ministry’s plane is rigged with modern equipment and special medical modules, breathing apparatuses and cardiomonitors, allowing rendering medical aid to the patients during the flight.
Medical specialists from the Tsentrospas Team of the Emergencies Ministry, the ZashchitaCenter of the Health Ministry and a psychologists from the Russian Emergencies Ministry’s EmergencyPsychologicalAidCenter will accompany the patients during the flight.
The patient from Moscow will be delivered to Rostov-on-Don to the city hospital for specialized medical treatment, then the plane will pick up 8 gravely ill patients in Rostov-on-Don to deliver them in Moscow for the specialized medical treatment in the Burdenko’s National Science Neurosurgery Center, the Morozov’s Children Hospital of the Moscow Health Department, the Research Institute for Emergency Children Surgery and Traumatology of the Moscow Health Department and the Russian Children Hospital of the Health Ministry.
