Ka-27PS helicopter crews of the Pacific Fleet are practising to rescue people in mountains on the Kamchatka Peninsula

Search and rescue forces and mountain rescue troops started training on the Kamchatka Peninsula.

Mainly, crews of Ka-27PS naval search and rescue helicopters of the naval aviation airbase of the Pacific Fleet are involved in this training.

The crews are improving their skills in instrument and mirror flights and accuracy of hovering over an object.

The medics are practicing descents from a helicopter at various altitudes, taking the injured on board and providing them with first aid.
