SCAC denies the fact of signing the contract for the delivery of SSJ100 to Iran

The manufacturer of regional Sukhoi SuperJet 100 airplanes, Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Company (SCAC), denied the information that appeared in the Iranian media about agreements on the supply of aircraft to Iran, reported by SCAC press-service.

Earlier on Tuesday, the Iranian agency FARS reported that within the MAKS-2017 airshow in Zhukovsky a contract was signed to supply several SSJ100 to Iran. It was noted that the ceremony was attended by high-ranking officials of the defense departments of Iran and Russia.

Earlier this year, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak stated that Iran could buy 12 SSJ100 aircraft.
