Russian Almaz-Antey will supply radars for air defense system to the Belarusian Defense Ministry

The Russian concern Almaz-Antey signed a contract with the Belarusian Defense Ministry during the international airshow MAKS-2017. The Russian company will supply radio location equipment, which will be used as part of the united Belarusian-Russian air defense system, according the website of the Embassy of Belarus in Russia.

"During the airshow, representatives of the holding held a number of business meetings and negotiations, following which several agreements and contracts were signed. In particular, a contract has been signed with the Belarusian Defense Ministry on the delivery of radar equipment for the Air Defense System, "the press service of the concern said.

In addition, an agreement was signed with the company "Beltechexport".

Deputy Director General of Almaz-Antei Concern, the head of the delegation delegation at the MAKS-2017 airshow Vyacheslav Dzirkaln notes that the contract for supplying the Belarusian side with radar equipment for the Air Defense System was signed according of the international agreement on military-technical cooperation .

"It is for us a significant stage in the sphere of independent deliveries of final products," said V. Dzirkaln, who is quoted by the press service.
