IFC agrees on PD-14 engines for MC-21

IFC has signed an LOI with Russia’s United Engine Corp. on the delivery of eight new PD-14 engines to be installed on MC-21-300 aircraft. The engines are intended for Red Wings airline to support the relevant agreement with IFC on MC-21-300. Their delivery is scheduled for 2022 – 2023.

The document was signed by Ilyushin Finance CEO Alexander Rubtsov and United Engine Corp. Managing Director Sergey Popov.

  The new Superjet100 (RA-89140) has been handed over to Red Wings. This is the 200th aircraft of this type produced by the United Aircraft Corporation and the first SSJ leased to the airline from PSB Leasing. The term of the contract is 20 years. Another 3 aircraft of this type were received by the airline this year from STLC. For the aircraft, an inverse version of the airline's livery was chosen (not the standard white and red, but red and white). Now the airline's fleet has 2 aircraft painted in such manner, the second one is A320.
