Marines of the Baltic Fleet performed parachute jumps

More than 200 servicemen performed jumping with weapons and additional equipment at altitudes of 900 and 1,200 metres from An-26 transport aircraft of the Baltic Fleet's naval aviation air base.

In the combat training process, servicemen practised three main stages: jumping without weapons, jumping with weapons and landing with additional equipment, which included special landing containers. In addition, "black berets" solved various training combat tactical tasks on the ground being part of subunits.

In total, since the beginning of the year, the Baltic Fleet’s marines have already carried out more than 1,500 parachute jumps.
