Pilots of the Pacific Fleet anti-submarine aviation practiced searching for conditional enemy’s ship groups

Crews of anti-submarine aviation performed complex of combat training tasks on conducting air reconnaissance in areas of expected conditional enemy’s deployment. Ships of the Primorskaya Flotilla of the Pacific Fleet acted as conditional enemy.

Pilots practiced search and tracking the conditional enemy’s ships. Flights were performed at day- and nighttime in different weather conditions at maximum patrol time using all the possibilities of anti-submarine complexes of aircraft.

6 IL-38 anti-submarine planes, including IL-38N, were engaged in exercise. More than 20 flights were performed in total.

Pilots successfully accomplished the assigned task, conditional enemy’s ship group was detected, and the information was sent to other planes and ships.
