A squadron of military transport aviation regiments of the Russian Aerospace Forces consisted of six Il-76MD was deployed from Taganrog to Belarusian airfield Baranovichi to participate in the Slavic Brotherhood – 2017 international exercise.

The main task of the crews of Il-76MD — during the exercises together with Belarusian colleagues to conduct a landing of the Russian Airborne Forces, the special operations Forces of Belarus and of special military goods in a given area at an unknown landing.

The difficulty of landing is that dropping paratroopers will be carried out in one of the border districts of the Brest region to a small area of land in the marshy area.
