An-30B aircraft will make a flight to observe the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria

The Russian Federation is planning to make the observation flight of the Russian An-30B surveillance aircraft over the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria.

This flight will be carried out between 5 and 9 June 2017 from the Open Sky Airfield Burgas with the maximum range up to 660 kilometres.

The Russian observation aircraft will follow the flight route agreed with the observed side, and the Bulgarian specialists will monitor the surveillance equipment aboard and compliance with the Open Sky Treaty’s provisions.

In 2017, this is the twentieth RF observation flight over the territories of the Treaty’s states-participants.
