Baltic Fleet's Naval Aviation’s pilots conducted a training air combat over the sea water area

Su-27 multipurpose fighter aircraft of the Baltic Fleet's Naval Aviation conducted a training air combat in the framework of scheduled flights and intercepted the assigned air target over the Kaliningrad Region.

The pilots practised take-off on command "Air", searched for the simulated violator of the air border, and then attacked it with the manoeuvre of evading air-to-air missiles.

In addition, the Su-27 crews completed the elements of piloting in a pair and the flight in close combat order.

Since the beginning of the year, naval aviation pilots have completed about 120 flights over the Baltic Sea waters to provide accompanying various aircraft, as well as surface ships of foreign countries.

More than 30 pilots of the aviation unit have improved their top-class qualifications by flying in various meteorological conditions.
