Prime-Minister Dmitry Medvedev stressed that lagging behind the schedule of infrastructure preparation for WC-2018 is inadmissible. This reported by TASS agency.
The Russian Federation Prime-Minister Dmitry Medvedev has signed a statement on the allocation of a land plot for the construction of the third runway in the Sheremetyevo airport. The area of the plot is 200,000 sq.m.Head of the Cabinet remarked that thus aircraft of all types will be able to land and take off using the new runway.
After putting the whole infrastructure of the airport in operation its capacity will grow up to 90 takeoff and landing operations per hour. “Additionally, favourable conditions for the work of all airline companies should be created, Medvedev noted.
“We have a serious task to put in operation the new runways and terminals in the Moscow airports of Vnukovo, Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo. Even the slightest lagging behind the schedule is inadmissible”, he said.
