Military space forces crews spent more than 350 hours in the air during the all-army contest “Aviadarts - 2017”

The practical part of the all-army air crews contest “Aviadarts - 2017” finished in Voronezh. The participants of the contests performed various flight missions during the week, performing more than 400 flights with total time, spent in the air, about 350 hours.

Military space forces pilots used more than 4 thousand aircraft weapons, including unguided missiles, bombs and gun ammunition to perform the tasks of the combat use.

It was the first time when air reconnaissance crews, using Su-24MR jets, took part in this contest. They performed the tasks of conducting the air reconnaissance of the moving objects at two tactical ranges, of the stationary objects, which emit antiaircraft missile complexes battery, and also of implementation of the air photography of the area.

More than 60 crews of the tactical, long-range, transporting and military aviation, formations and units of the military space forces and military districts were engaged in these contests, using more than 100 pieces of aircraft equipment.
