Western Military District’s spetsnaz formation servicemen, located in Tambov and Pskov regions, will perform more than 8000 parachute jumps during the summer airborne training, which has recently started.
Fully equipped servicemen carry out jumps from An-26 and An-12 aircraft from 800 m altitude both at day and night.
Three modifications of parachutes are used for jumps – D-10, D-6 and Arbalet-2.
