The training exercises of the Western Military District’s fighter aircraft pilots started in Priporskiy Krai. The pilots will perform tasks for their mission above the sea.

The pilots will study the features of flying above the water, taking into account the different characteristics of the coastal zone, the coordination with search and rescue groups, light code signals and skills of working with lighthouse.

During the practical part of the exercise Su-30M2 and Su-35 aircraft pilots will practice piloting and flying on specified routes at medium and low altitude above sea, including night flights.

Moreover, crews will meet the standards of using of the individual means of rescue, including aviation rescue belt and naval rescue suit.

In the final part of the exercise the pilots will conduct bombing at sea targets.
