Large scale command-and-staff exercise with Airborne Forces will be held at Western Russia in July

Large scale command-and-staff exercise with several Airborne Forces formations will be held at Western Military District’s range in early July

During this exercise the paratroopers will practice number of issues connected with inter-troops cooperation and controlling of the airborne forces units during the performance of combat-training tasks, including the cooperation with Military Transport, and Army Aviations.

This exercise will be the second for its scale in 2017. The exercise will be conducted according to the Airborne combat training plan for 2017.

The first large-scale exercise, headed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Airborne Forces Colonel General Andrey Serdyukov, was held this March on the Crimean Peninsula.
