Anti-aircraft gunners destroyed more than 40 aircraft and helicopters of the imaginary enemy on the coast of the Azov Seal

Within the framework of the All-Army stage of the competition ‘Clear Sky’ for anti-aircraft units’ field training, at the range Yeysky of the RF Armed Forces’ Air Defence located in the Krasnodar Territory servicemen destroyed about 45 imaginary enemy aircraft and helicopters that suddenly appeared over the shore of the Azov Sea.

To create conditions that are as close to combat ones as possible, the sections of the contest’s routes are equipped with various targets, including mobile and suddenly appearing goals in the form of growth figures, groups of armoured personnel carriers and helicopters that designate the ground and air forces of the imaginary enemy.

The total number of servicemen-participants in the competitions is more than 120 people, who are the best specialists in their Military Districts, and about 30 units of military equipment, including multipurpose light-armoured tractors and BTR-80 armoured personnel carriers.
